Context

 Our society is currently undergoing considerable transformations due to digital and ecological transitions which have been accentuated by the Covid-19 health crisis. This situation has given companies the opportunity to innovate in order to best respond to the critical effects on their activity and to meet their needs. The changes amplified by the development of new technologies, in particular that of artificial intelligence, make it possible to implement innovative strategies for intelligent and sustainable transformation that are constantly modifying in depth our way of producing and consuming.
In just a few years, the circular economy has established itself in public debate as the promise of a growth model compatible with the challenges of a societal, environmental and digital transition. Concretely, in a much more responsible way, entering fully into the era of the circular economy, companies must adopt it in their strategy. Unlike the linear economy, marked by the disproportionate exploitation of natural resources and the landfilling of waste resulting from our unbridled consumption, the circular economy is based on strategies for looping material and energy flows. It is with a view to understanding these eclectic changes and preparing the ecosystem as well as possible, in particular innovative companies, that the ISET of Radès is organizing the conference on applied research and technology transfer "CRATT 2023".
For this 8th edition, the theme chosen is "New Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, Accelerators of the Circular Economy: Potentials and Challenges". Faithful as usual to its multidisciplinarity and its close relationship with the socio-economic environment, CRATT 2023 proposes to present applications with innovative potential for more responsible management, as well as various methodological and technological developments with the aim of bringing solutions for an optimal transition of industrial systems towards new technologies and artificial intelligence, in order to move on the path of a sustainable circular economy.

The journal will be on the IJARTech "International Journal of Applied Research and Technology" platform, which is a multidisciplinary digital journal reserved, as its name suggests, for publications of scientific and technical articles resulting from applied research.

 On the occasion of the eighth edition of the CRATT’2023 Applied Research and Technology Transfer Colloquium, CRATT Junior 2023 will take place.
 CRATT Junior 2023 is an opportunity to exhibit and promote recent "PFE" end-of-study work and master's theses that have left an impact after their production or exploitation and that have dealt with subjects:

• Innovative
• An impact of exploitation in their environment
• Technology transfer assistance
• Migration to new technology
• New concepts of production, organization, management

 CRATT Junior 2023 represents, on the one hand, an opportunity to exchange experiences between students, industrialists and university teachers and, on the other hand, to promote collaboration between the various stakeholders. It also provides fertile ground for recruitment.
